This month, we are going to enjoy the arrival of a new animated film, Chance! The fantasy comedy will make its worldwide debut on Friday, August 5.
The visionaries behind Disney’s toy story and The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Debut are on the team for the upcoming Apple TV+ movie and Skydance Animation. The computer-animated film is directed by Peggy Holmes, who was behind the third The little Mermaid film. Among its producers is Joh Lasseter, who directed on toy story and Cars.
The film is mainly set in the land of luck. It’s a place where animals and creatures work behind the scenes to create all the lucky and unlucky moments that make up our daily lives. This system works because no human has ever set foot there, that is, until the luckiest person in the world, Sam Greenfield, did. As she finds herself in the land of luck, she realizes that she must unite magical creatures in hopes of reversing her own luck.

Simon Pegg as Bob
Bob is a lucky black cat from the land of luck. He becomes Sam’s partner in the quest to find a lucky penny in hopes of preserving his lucky life.
