The Canadian Lakes Car Club will host the 18th annual “Cruisin’ at the Castle Charity Car Show” on September 4. Proceeds from the event will benefit local non-profit organizations.

CANADIAN LAKES — The Canadian Lakes Cruisers Car Club will host its 18e annual “Cruisin’ at the Castle Charity Car Show” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, September 4 at the Castle in Canadian Lakes, 9400 Pere Marquette Dr., Canadian Lakes.

The vehicle entry fee is $10 and registration begins at 9 a.m. Drivers are eligible for special door prizes. Admission for spectators is free.

Visitors can enjoy music from a local DJ. Food and drinks will be available. Children’s entertainment will include face painting and Dee Jay the Clown with balloons and a magic show.

Sweepstakes prize tickets will be available for purchase and silent auction items will be available for auction. Participants can pay $2 to vote for their favorite vehicle. Children aged 5 to 12 can vote for their favorite vehicle and win a prize by voting.

“The beautiful castle grounds are an ideal setting for everyone to enjoy great cars, trucks and motorbikes,” said club chairman Henry Marshall. “There’s plenty to do and enjoy at the Cruisin’ at the Castle Charity Car Show.”

Each year the car show raises funds to support local charities. This year, proceeds will go to Project Starburst, Our Brother Keeper and Angles of Action.
