Bel Aire Elementary School students will take audiences on a magical adventure through Arendelle in the school’s upcoming production of “Frozen Jr.”

Approximately 140 students from two casts – the Arendelle cast and the Magic cast – will perform the musical at 6:30 p.m. March 9-12 and 2:30 p.m. March 12-13 at the school, 277 Karen Way. This is the first time in two years that the students will perform a play in front of a live audience. The 2020 production, “Peter Pan Jr.”, was abruptly canceled just before opening night as the coronavirus began to spread rapidly across Marin and the United States; the students were able to do a performance, which was broadcast live to the public at home. The play was canceled entirely last year amid ongoing pandemic restrictions.

The show this year, which is presented by the Association of School Parents’, was adapted for young performers of the Broadway musical 2018, which is itself based on the Disney animated film computer which became a huge success upon its release in 2013 theaters. He reported $ 1.2 billion at the box office and spawned a sequel in 2019, while the original film title song – “Let It Go” – was the fifth best selling song of 2014, winning an Academy Award for best original song and a Grammy for best song written Prize for visual media.
