James Taylor and his all-star group announce rescheduled Canadian tour

Jackson Browne to replace Bonnie Raitt on the trek

Posted on October 20, 2021

James Taylor & His All-Star Band and Bonnie Raitt were due to give a series of Canadian shows in 2020 before the pandemic hit and ruined everyone’s plans. Now Taylor has rescheduled those dates, replacing Raitt with Jackson Browne on a 12-day race from coast to coast.

The tour is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2022, starting with a stop on the East Coast that kicks off in St. John’s on April 21. Along the way, the musicians will perform in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Suite.

“Jackson Browne and I toured together this summer and fall and he agreed to come to Canada with me,” Taylor wrote of the tour in a statement. “We were delighted with the response from our audience on this current tour of the United States and I hope those of you who have retained tickets for the Canadian concerts will be delighted with the surprise change in the bill.”

The artist notes that those who cared about seeing Raitt will be eligible for a refund. Tickets already purchased will be honored on the new postponed dates.
