Get to know your computer – add an animated greeting

0

The other day I got a question from one of my lovely delegates, Hilary, who wrote “How do I add a gif to a PowerPoint slide?” I didn’t find it in your Tips archives… ”

I liked his idea of using it as one of his welcome slides. I have personally used animated gifs to advertise coffee breaks.

So whether you like them or not, you can find a lot of them in PowerPoint.

Here’s how:

  1. In the Insert tab, click Pictures followed by Photos online.

  2. Type same Where Animated gif and press ENTER. You can also enter additional terms to refine the results.

3. Click on the image (s) or meme (s) you want to insert and click on the Insert button.

4. Edit the layout as usual or click Design Ideas for inspiration.
