The second episode of season four of Star Trek: Discovery arrive on Paramount + this week. We’ve got new details, photos, a clip, and more to get you started.


The new episode of Discovery (titled “Anomaly”) debuted on Paramount + Thursday, November 25, Thanksgiving Day in the United States.


Saru returns to help the Discovery of the USS uncover the mystery of an unusually destructive new force. As Burnham leads the crew, she must also find a way to help Book cope with unimaginable loss.

The official Star Trek post-show The Ready Room featured a clip from this week’s episode (at 32:48) showing Saru’s return to the deck of the USS Discovery. The full episode of The Ready Room also includes interviews with Kate Mulgrew and Sonequa Martin-Green, as well as reports on the new AR wall used by Discovery and a spotlight on the new character of Federation President Rillak.

UPDATE: Sonequa on Burnham / Rillak relationship

Monday morning, Sonequa Martin-Green was the guest of CBS this morning where she spoke about the impact of filming season four so soon after giving birth. The actress also spoke about the loss of her parents in April and the complicated relationship with the new president of the Federation.

Martin-Green was also today’s guest on View where she spoke The next generation veteran Whoopi Goldberg on being the first black female captain to helm a Star Trek show. Sonequa has also talked a lot about coping with grief, as she lost both parents in April.

New episodes of Star Hiking: Discovery premiere on thursday Paramount + in the United States and on CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada, where it is also available to stream on Really want to. Discovery will debut on Paramount + in 45 countries around the world in 2022.
