TORONTO — A trio of shining country music stars will unite for a unique collaboration for this year’s Twisted Tea Gray Cup Halftime Show. The Canadian Football League will host Jordan Davis, Tyler Hubbard of the Florida Georgia Line, and of Canada Josh Ross on stage for the 109th Gray Cup from Mosaic Stadium in Saskatchewan on Sunday, November 20.
The headliners were revealed on tonight’s edition of CTV’s etalk, as the league gears up for the playoffs with all roads leading to Regina.
“It’s always great to play in Canada, and I can’t wait to soak up the energy and atmosphere of the Gray Cup,” Davis said. “Canadian music fans are among the best in the world. Playing for them, especially with Tyler and Josh, will be an incredibly special night that I will never forget.
The Shreveport, Louisiana native recently hit No. 1 for the fourth time, with the title track from his 2021 EP, “Buy Dirt (with Luke Bryan).“The triple-platinum hit was nominated for Single, Song and Event of the Year at the Country Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. The single joins a trio of tracks from his debut album State of origin – “Singles,” “take it from me,” and “Slow dance in a parking lot” – which reached the top of the charts.
The Best New Country Artist winner at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards is also twice nominated for Academy of Country Music New Male Artist of the Year and Billboard’s Best New Country Artist of 2018. His current single , “What my world revolves around” was recently certified Gold in Canada. Davis will join Thomas Rhett Bring the bar to you for 10 arena dates across Canada starting Feb. 23 in Vancouver.
Tyler Hubbard echoed Davis’ sentiments as he reflected on the opportunity ahead.

The duo will be joined on stage at the Twisted Tea Gray Cup Halftime Show by Burlington, Ontario native Josh Ross, whose performance will be the fulfillment of two childhood dreams.

The trio’s special collaboration was made possible through the CFL’s ongoing partnership with Universal Music Canada, which featured in-game streamed music, an in-stadium concert series and collaborations with all nine league member clubs. .
