The Elora Mohawks have home-court advantage when they face the St. Catharines Athletics in the second round of the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League playoffs.
No. 1 seed Elora will host the deciding game if the best-of-5 Western Conference semifinal against fourth-seeded St. Catharines goes the distance.
Action in a rematch of a 2019 quarter-final begins Friday at the Elora Community Center, starting at 7 p.m. back to Elora. A fourth and fifth game, respectively, would take place on Sunday, July 17, Canada Games Park; and Monday, July 18, Elora.
The Mohawks, who finished the regular season with a 17-3 record, swept a back and forth with the A’s. They won 12-2 at home on May 7 and took a 9-5 decision when the action moved to Canada Games Park in Thorold on June 18.
