The Reboot/GDC 2008: Metroid at Video Games Live
Watching Video Games Live was the perfect way to end the Game Developers Conference, which took place last week. The full-symphony-orchestra played various video game themes, including Pong, Frogger, Dragon’s Lair, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect and Halo. Fans in attendance were also given a special performance, as VGL played the theme to the popular Nintendo game “Metroid.” It was only the second time Metroid has ever been played at VGL. Props to Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall for putting together such a kick ass show. Here’s the performance:
